Home study..

Or atleast thats what its meant to be.. just gone 15.30 and I havent actually made any progress on my FMP yet apart from tidying up my tables.. but i will! I doesnt help having the internet to 'catch up' on all the sites I visit. Facebook, myspace (proud_brit), hotmail and now Jam factory quite alot. I went to a xynthetic show at the end of March and saw plenty of Gavin Strange's (jam factory) work and collaborative work. Since then I keep checking out his blog + site for lil bits of inspiration, probably even more since Ive created this blog. You should check it outtt http://www.jam-factory.com/ and follow the links from there, so tempting to buy one of his skateboards..

Yesterday was quite cool at NCN, got quite alot done and out came the spraycans after everyone had left.. fun to just mess around. Anna and myself played a little noughts and crosses with them, practice some line work. Of course I won. Anyway, off to do work.. I think

Stillll waiting.

Apparently it would be ten days before I heard anything from LCAD or ucas, but im just getting impatient. I really want to go! Had my development presentation yesterday for my FMP and apparently my target audience for the cycling magazine is 'middle aged 'rock dinosaur' dad' ...yeah I know. Not exactly accurate but whatever. Either way it means I have a ton of work to do before the 19th may arghhhh. Oh! I havent said.. My final show for this course is on 17th june at NCN stoney street, no doubt ill give more details in the not too distant future about it.

For the whole 'rock dino' thing.. I was suggested to have a nostalgia page of cycling to 'take them back' My dad has a load of old puncture outfits + mending kits which look really interesting, could be the main focal point of the page. It'd be a shame to leave them out. I quite like them.

How amazing is this! bit of old school cool. Why arent all adverts like this?

I should really learn.

Its probably dedication, I keep tell myself its dedication and not leaving it to the last minute to complete something, no matter how important. I have to be honest I have been working since 11 this morning and its just 1 now.. Im waiting for some spraypaint to dry then its mount mania for lucas in the ol' sketchbook. Apparently my style is very scrapbook which ill agree with according lorenzo (LCAD 2nd year tutor) which I guess is a compliment..? Anyway..

I think the plan tomorrow is to get up early(ish) and meet anna at college early to get cracking, get a full day in and lots done for FMP (Development presentation in there somewhere too) and before sara comes on tuesday evening (yay) Some of the stuff might not look that impressive yet, but you have to see it in the final product like it is in my mind. I got really excited creating some of the effects which sounds really sad, just what I wanted to, going really well. Here's an image experimentation..

So thats where all the ink for my fat marker went.. (I have a new found love for those things) You wait till I get a loan. Watch out coverage!

Anyway thats it for now. Back to the grind..

Girls and boyys.

Just floating around the web for development stuff my FMP, I remembered the subways myspace had alot tape/collage for backgrounds and cool type for me to look into.. from there I found their new album cover, for 'all or nothing' Its amazing! so why not plonk it on my blog? Pictures are below..

Retro styles, grainy picture, cool typography, awesome music! I wonder if it'll come out as a lithograph? (did i spell that right?)

What I originally wanted to look at. simple, but cool. I guess I should get back to my work?

Oh! I almost forgot, if you like the subways for a short time you can girls and boys (the new single) for free! mm mmm.
